We like to keep things real — just like our sourdough starter.
Because sourdough is a living thing (and not your average product!), we don’t offer traditional returns. Once it leaves our hands and heads into your kitchen, how it thrives depends on how it’s cared for.
That said, we absolutely want you to be happy with your purchase! If something isn’t quite right or you’re not satisfied, please reach out — we’re always here to help dough things right.

If your starter didn’t behave as expected or something didn’t feel right, send us a message at info@startmalta.com. We'll gladly offer support, troubleshooting tips, or a refund if needed — no stress, no judgment.

Since we’re dealing with a perishable and active product, we can’t accept returns. But we’re big believers in community and good vibes — so if your starter didn’t get off to a great start, we’ll do what we can to make it better.
